Terra Incognita Class Exchange Portfolios

Check out these two exhibitions comprised of prints from Professor James Bailey's Advanced Research in Printmaking and Introductory Intaglio printmaking courses. Students created works based on their interpretations of "Terra Incognita". Terra incognita is the Latin term for "unknown land", used in cartography for regions that have not been mapped or documented. The expression is not found in ancient texts, and occurs first in the sixteenth century.
